Chapter II, Palezoic

  • Chapter II embodies Earth’s ancient
period, marking the emergence and evolution of diverse marine life forms. The aquarium features a limited light source, and the reflective nature of fish scales create an extremely high contrast visual environment. The high contrast look generated in the photograph removes the boundary of the aquarium and it makes it seem like a vast underwater space by creating a deep black shadow, lending an air of ambiguity and tricking the viewer into thinking it might be a photograph that was taken underwater.
